Contradiction, or Just Framing?
The desk's one accumulated finding is that most of what we call media bias is not lying — it is framing: the outlets agree on what happened and split only on what to call it. So here is the test that finding implies. Each round is one real event, two outlets, the words verbatim — and your only job is to say whether they truly contradict each other on a fact, or are just framing the same fact two ways. Then the desk shows you its own call, and the audit it came from.
Every span is quoted verbatim from the source the audit grounds it to. The desk's classification is the same one the Framing Index and every audit use: a hard contradiction is one where the accounts cannot both be true; a framing (or naming) split is one where they agree on the fact and differ only on the word.
